Nestled between the villages of Kewal Nagar and Montagne Blanche in the East of Mauritius, Domaine de l’Etoile is the largest natural reserve of the island.

Featuring over 1,200 hectares of lush green valleys, centuries-old forests and majestic rivers, Domaine de l’Etoile is a true local treasure where splendid flora and fauna complement one another. This former sugar estate not only offers spectacular views of the Moka Mountain range and of the island’s magnificent lagoons, it is also home to a rich wildlife. If you’re lucky enough, you might encounter the deer of Java, the Kestrel and the Roussette that live in total harmony and freedom in this local Eden Garden.

Couples can opt for quad or buggy rides or horseback riding for a romantic immersion into nature while families can enjoy numerous group activities together!

If you plan to spend an entire day at the Domain, you may want to check out their restaurant. Expect no less than a jaw-dropping, serene and welcoming décor burrowed outdoors under the trees and overlooking the river. Think terraces paved with old stones, antique furniture and fireplace along with mouthwatering Mauritian dishes – You won’t need much to please your taste buds and create memories!

The entry free of the Domain is of MUR 250 per adult and MUR 175 for children. Prices for other activities may vary between MUR 250 and MUR 3500.
